LMS FAVORITES

Still not sure what to read? If you've  looked at all the featured books on display and have read everything by the featured author and poet and don't know where to look next, never fear! Here are some suggestions on where to look for your next favorite book!

1. Athena

This is the computer program where all the books are cataloged. You can easily search for books by the title, the author or the subject. If you're not sure how to use Athena, ask Mrs. H. for help.

2. The Book Binder

We have a binder here in the library that has MANY lists of books - by series, by subject, by the award they won...we can almost guarantee you will find something to read in there.

3. The Idea Board

Have you noticed the big display under our awesome tree? One of our super-smart kids suggested we have a board for kids to post their recommendations for a great read. Make sure you take a look - there are some great suggestions up there. (Thank you for the great idea, Austin!)

4. This Website!

Make sure you explore the pages for student, librarian and staff picks. This is a great way to find books that you already know someone has read and loved.
