Welcome to your corner of the website!
The library is here for you just as much as it is for the kids! It is great as a back-up if you need a computer lab at the last minute (keep in mind we only have 13 computers available for student use, but 13 is better than none!), if you need a space for students to work on projects and they need more room than you have available in your classroom, or if you just want to schedule a time for your kids to read in an alternate setting. Any teacher can schedule a time - not just the language arts teachers. It can also serve as an extra resource for your areas of study; for example, I can put together a resource cart for you to have in your room if you need other sources besides online sites. I am also currently working on getting the "Teacher Resource Room" ready for use. This room houses all of the small lit lab sets, a variety of other classroom materials, the professional books, the DVD's that can be checked out and the staff lending library. I have the book fair to prepare for, but it should be available shortly after that. In the meantime, check out your corner of the website and let me know if you have anything you'd like me to add!
